We must defeat aging. Aging kills about 100,000 humans each day.

Read the book Ending Aging by Aubrey de Grey. The book describes how aging may be defeated. Aubrey de Grey runs SENS Research Foundation. The organization is dedicated to research that may lead to the defeat of aging. Vitalik Buterin donated about $2.5 million worth of Ethereum to SENS Research Foundation, if I'm not mistaken.
